Personal Information Collected

Lavalse Hotel (hereinafter called Company) stresses the importance of the personal information of users and complies with the laws of the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection Etc. Company shall announce how and why personal information provided by users are used through the personal information handling policy and also announce what measures are taken to protect personal information. In the event that the personal information handling policies are changed, it shall be informed through website announcements (or individual announcement).

Company collects personal information as follows for membership subscription, online inquiries and service application.

Purpose of Collecting Personal Information

Company shall use the collected personal information for the following purposes.

Personal Information Possession and Usage Period

Company shall continuously retain user’s personal information while the user uses services provided by Company, and the purpose of this is to provide services. When the user applies for withdrawal of membership or requests deletion of personal information, actions shall be taken so that the information cannot be viewed or used in the future. However, Company may retain member ID, name and e-mail for up to two years from the date of request for termination in order to prevent unlawful use of faulty members.

  • 1Possession and usage period according to internal policies of Company
    For members who subscribed through the homepage, Company shall retain personal information according to the internal policies of Company regarding personal information.
    • When homepage members (both active and inactive) withdraw, information shall be retained for two years from the date of subscription
      (Information of members who are inactive but has exceeded two years since subscribing shall be stored)
    • In the case of refund withdrawal, refund request records shall be retained for two years
    • Unlawful usage records shall be retained for one year to prevent unlawful use

    When necessary to retain pursuant to relevant laws such as the Commercial Act or Act on the Consumer Protection in Electric Commerce, Etc., Company shall retain member information for the period specified by relevant laws. In this case, Company shall use retained information only for the purpose of storage, and the storage period shall be as follows.

Personal Information Destruction Procedure and Method

Company shall destroy personal information once the purpose of collection and use of the personal information is achieved. The destruction method is as follows.
